TMC Italia produces three phase transformers, as a branch of the homonymous Australian company, whose electric transformers production range extends as far as insulation class 36 kV and a nominal maximum power of 20 MVA.
The magnetic core placed between the high Voltage windings and the low Voltage windings of TMC transformers, uses a conventional type of lamination with oriented grains and low heat loss coefficient in carlyte and step lap cut.
The high Voltage windings of the primary winding are constructed from aluminum strip or wire wound continuously and directly around a metal cylindrical former, on which first is fixed a layer of stiffening material treated with resins.
The low Voltage windings are made of aluminum and from a single strip, with a height equal to that of the entire column as to confer a high level of compactness.
The company also offers transformers installation service, with the presence of its technicians during installation process, transformers technical assistance for problems arisen in course of starting or while the transformer is functioning, supervision e inspections in case of operating anomalies. Moreover, it can supply suggestions for particular situations of electric plant engineering, technical suggestions for a correct ventilation of the transformer, information about updated standards, etc.
